Rivals.com five-star defensive tackle Chris Davenport of Mansfield gave his verbal commitment to Les Miles and LSU Wednesday. The 6-foot-4, 318-pound Davenport is listed as the nation's fourth best defensive tackle and the 18th-best overall player in the country by Rivals.com.
